At Ascot International we are committed to sustainability from our global suppliers of raw materials for your formulations to the general supplies in our office here in Manchester. Our approach is constantly evolving with the world around us remaining an essential element of how we operate as a business. This includes working alongside manufacturers and suppliers who also hold this value close to their heart, striving to find natural, organic alternatives and introducing those to the chemical industry plus, doing our bit to give back to the local communities and Mother Earth! Reducing our Carbon Footprint is one of our key missions, proud supporters of the SME Climate Commitment, it has never been easier to get involved!
We are proud to be associated with Shiva Trust who have been committed to helping the world one project at a time for the last 10 years. One of their main visions is to safeguard our environment, climate and wildlife through vital plantation and sanctuary, one which we fully support!
Here at Ascot, we are serious about the climate emergency , which is why we’ve committed via @SMEClimateHub to halve emissions before 2030 and reach net zero emissions before 2050! The SME Climate Hub is an initiative of the International Chamber of Commerce, the Exponential Roadmap Initiative, the We Mean Business coalition and the United Nations Race to Zero campaign. We plan to make climate related targets and performance a key supplier criteria and to reduce greenhouse gass emissions through action and collaboration, while looking to inspire others to do the same. We will work with our suppliers and clients alike and ask them to join us on the journey to help our planet!
We are also firm believers in helping those in need regularly volunteering and donating both our time and organising fundraising to these vital services in Stockport & Manchester who provide support, food and shelter to anyone who needs it.
